Day 01: Arrive Amritsar
Upon your arrival at Amritsar railway station/airport, you’ll be picked up & transfers you to Wagah Border “India–Pakistan Border” which is famous for its ‘Retreat’ ceremony at the time of sunset. Indeed the flag-lowering ceremony at the end of each day on the India-Pakistan border at Wagah in Punjab has over the years become a tourist destination. The two flag posts are located contiguous to the boundary line between the two gates. The Wagah check-point is about mid-way between the cities of Lahore in Pakistan and Amritsar in India, each about 25 kilometers away. By late evening you will return to the hotel for check in. Stay overnight.
Day 02: Amritsar Local. Travel to Katra
Today, post breakfast, check out from hotel. Start your city tour with the blessings of Sri Harmandir Sahib, is named after Hari (God) the temple of God, also known as the Golden Temple in Amritsar is the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions. The Gurdwara is surrounded by a large lake or holy tank, known as the Sarovar, which consists of Amrit (holy water). followed by visit to Jallianwala Bagh, famous for one of the most tragic yet landmark events in the history of India. You can Visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It is surrounded by the lovely garden Ram Bagh. Then visit Durgiana Temple, a premier Hindu temple of Punjab situated in the city of Amritsar. This temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga and it is also called by the name of Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Then visit Mata Lal devi Temple an attraction of the history of Amritsar. A grand old pious lady developed this Hindu temple situated at Rani ka Bagh, on the lines of holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi at Katra (Jammu). After visit, proceed to Katra by road. It will take 255 Kms / 6 Hours to reach Katra. Katra is popularly known is a small town in district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located. On arrival at Katra, check into the hotel & relax. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight at Katra Hotel.
Day 03: Katra
After Breakfast, Start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaisno devi Darshan. Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple. Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (14 km), Helicopter Tickets / ponies/ Palkies can also be arranged by self (at your own cost) for the trek, return back to Katra late in evening/night. Overnight at Katra Hotel.
Day 04: Katra – Delhi by train
Today after breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to katra railway station to board train to Delhi. Onboard train.
Day 05: Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi railway station, you will be picked up and proceed to hotel for check in. After breakfast, proceed to full day local sightseeing of Delhi covering major places like Akshardham, India Gate, Palika Market, Janpath Market, Rajghat, Lal Quilla, Chandni Chowk. Back to hotel & stay overnight.
Day 06: Delhi – Mathura – Vrindavan
After Breakfast,check out from hotel & proceed to Mathura & Vrindavan . Mathura or Brij- Bhumi is popularly known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The place is known as a holy place by Hindus and is one of the most religious place of India. Mathura is situated in 145km from Delhi. The city is known for its many temples dedicated to Hindu God & Goddesses. Many religious places like Vrindavan, Govardhan, Kusum Sarovar, Barsana and Nandgaon are surrounded to the holy city Mathura. On Arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour visting Shri Krishna Janm Bhumi, Vishram Ghat, Dwarkadeesh Temple, Gita mandir, Nidhivan, Seva Kunj and Banke Bihare Temple etc. Then proceed to visit Vrindavan just 15km from Mathura is a scratched place for Hindu Religion. Vrindavan is the place where Lord Krishna spent his childhood days. This notable place is famous for its lovable characteristics of Lord Krishna with his beloved Radha. Vrindavan attracts Hindu deities for its numerous temples like Guru Govind temple, Madon Mohan Temple. Stay overnight in hotel.
After paying visit here, now move to Agra
Day 07: Mathura – Agra – Delhi
After Breakfast, check out & proceed for Agra to Visit world famous Taj Mahal one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Saha Jahan for his beloved wife Mamtaz Mahal. The Taj made up with white marble is a great attraction of India and is considered as a symbol of love. Visit Agra fort also Now its time to back to Delhi. You will reach late in Delhi. Stay overnight.
Day 08: Delhi Departure
After Breakfast, check out & proceed for sightseeing of Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar, Chatrapur Mandir, Sarojini Market. Later drop at Airport / Railway station for your journey back to home.
