Day 01: Arrive Amritsar
Upon your arrival at Amritsar railway station/airport, you’ll be picked up & transfers you to Wagah Border “India–Pakistan Border” which is famous for its ‘Retreat’ ceremony at the time of sunset. Indeed the flag-lowering ceremony at the end of each day on the India-Pakistan border at Wagah in Punjab has over the years become a tourist destination. The two flag posts are located contiguous to the boundary line between the two gates. The Wagah check-point is about mid-way between the cities of Lahore in Pakistan and Amritsar in India, each about 25 kilometers away. By late evening you will return to the hotel for check in. Stay overnight.

Day 02: Amritsar Local. Travel to Katra
Today, post breakfast, check out from hotel. Start your city tour with the blessings of Sri Harmandir Sahib, is named after Hari (God) the temple of God, also known as the Golden Temple in Amritsar is the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions. The Gurdwara is surrounded by a large lake or holy tank, known as the Sarovar, which consists of Amrit (holy water). followed by visit to  Jallianwala Bagh, famous for one of the most tragic yet landmark events in the history of India. You can Visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It is surrounded by the lovely garden Ram Bagh. Then visit Durgiana Temple, a premier Hindu temple of Punjab situated in the city of Amritsar. This temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga and it is also called by the name of Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Then visit Mata Lal devi Temple an attraction of the history of Amritsar. A grand old pious lady developed this Hindu temple situated at Rani ka Bagh, on the lines of holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi at Katra (Jammu).  After visit, proceed to Katra by road. It will take 255 Kms / 6 Hours to reach Katra. Katra is popularly known is a small town in district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located. On arrival at Katra, check into the hotel & relax. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight at Katra Hotel.

Day 03: Katra
After Breakfast, Start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaisno devi Darshan. Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple. Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (14 km),  Helicopter Tickets / ponies/ Palkies  can also be arranged by self (at your own cost) for the trek, return back to Katra late in evening/night. Overnight at Katra Hotel.

Day 04: Katra – Dharamshala (240 Kms / 7 Hrs)
Today after breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Dharamshala by road. It will take around 7 hours journey. On arrival check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. We suggest you to enjoy a walk along the mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamsala.

Day 05: Dharamshala 
Next day after breakfast, start your city tour visit Dalai Lama Monestry, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Water fall, Norbalinga Institute, Jwalaji Temple at Jwalamukhi, Tapovan, Chinmay Mission at Siddhabadi. Back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dharmshala.

Day 06: Dharamshala – Khajjar (127 Kms /4 hrs)
After Breakfast, check out & Drive 127 KMs 4Hrs to Khajjar, check in the Hotel. Khajjiar the famous shooting spot, Khajjiar is a small picturesque saucer shaped plateau surrounded by the pine and deodar forests which is also commonly known as Switzerland if India. Visit temples & museums in Khajjar.  Evening free for shopping at Mall Road or relaxation, overnight at Khajjar Hotel.

Day 07: Khajjar -Dalhousie  – Amritsar
After Breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Dalhousie which is 25 kms from Khajjar. You can visit Shubhash Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, Punj Pulla, Then proceed to Amritsar. On arrival, check in hotel & stay overnight in Amritsar.

Day 08: Amritsar  Departure
After Breakfast, check out from hotel. Proceed to Airport / Railway station for your onward journey.

  • If the company is unable to provide accommodations at the booked hotels due to natural or unavoidable circumstances that interrupt the expected course of events, the clients will be provided with equivalent or higher category accommodations.
