Day 1: Arrive Cochin – Athirapally (70 km/approx. 2.3 hours)
On arrival at Cochin airport , Meet our representative who will transfer you to Athirappally, one of the most important bio-diversity hotspot in the world. Arrive at Athirappally and check in to the resort. Afternoon – enjoy the waterfalls, the 80ft cascade originate from the upper reaches of Western Ghats. Also you can enjoy the nearby Vazhachal waterfalls. Overnight stay at Athirappally.
Day 2: Athirapally –Munnar (125 km/approx. 4.5 hours)
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast and proceed for a scenic drive to Munnar. Enroute visit the beautiful Cheeyapara & Valara waterfalls. Enjoy the breathtaking and glorious waterfall cascade down the seven steps. Arrive at Munnar and check in to the resort. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
After Breakfast, proceed to explore Eravikulam National Park, home to various elusive and endangered species. It is a great place to enjoy trekking and offers mind-blowing views of the tea plantations. Later, proceed towards Tea Museum (closed on Monday), which gives an insight to the history of tea plantations of this region. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 4: Munnar – Alleppey (165 km/approx. 4.5 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a backwater cruise and for an overnight Cruise through the beautiful and scenic backwaters of Kerala, while you stay in houseboat. Overnight stay in houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppey – Kovalam (160 km/approx. 4.3 hours)
After Breakfast, check out from the houseboat / Resort at 0900hrs and drive Kovalam, one of the most popular beach destinations in Kerala. Enroute visit Thiruvananthapuram literally means ‘the abode of Anantha’, the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Sri Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) displays the original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma which houses a collection of paintings from the Rajput, Mughal and Thanjore schools. The collection also includes unique copies of Indian mural paintings from pre-historic times down to the 18th century. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 6: Kovalam
After breakfast ,day is free for leisure or you can travel to Kanya umara and back to Hotel at kovalam. ( Additional Cost to be added).
Day 7: Kovalam – Trivandrum Departure.
After Breakfast, Check out from the resort and drive to Trivandrum airport. Board the flight to your onward destination feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the “God’s Own Country”. Our services end after dropping you at Trivandrum airport.
